Welcome to Soaring Spirit Yoga

The idea for Soaring Spirit Yoga Studio was born out of a desire to provide a welcoming space and community where you feel supported in your exploration of yoga and wellness.

Yoga doesn’t have to be something intimidating, exotic or complicated. The essence of yoga boils down to the practice of being present in the moment. By practicing yoga poses and observing the breath, you can learn to pay attention to what’s going on right now rather than dwelling on the past or the future. Life’s richness lies here in the present and that’s something worth pursuing, even if it is sometimes challenging!

At Soaring Spirit Yoga Studio, we offer a variety of practices so both beginners and more seasoned practitioners will feel welcome. Our varied offerings include daily yoga classes and special workshops to further enhance your yogic journey.

Private Yoga Instruction
We honor the tradition of yoga as a dialog between teacher and student by offering private instruction for individual students or small groups.  Whether you are brand new to yoga, have a physical condition that needs special attention, or you would just like to have a specialized consultation regarding your personal yoga practice we highly recommend the benefits of private sessions.  Please contact via email or call to inquire about our rates and availability of asana room and instructors.

Ready to take a class?
Simply view our schedule and choose your class.  Please take a moment to set up a Mind Body login as our SSYS Mind Body system has the latest information including any class or instructor changes. If you are new to SSYS you may purchase our new student pass of  3 classes for $35.   You may do this using our online reservation system or by visiting the studio.  If you choose to purchase in person, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class start time in order to purchase your pass and to get acquainted with us.  If you are coming to SSYS for the first time, please see our Visiting page so you can find out what to bring and what to wear.



In order to keep you up-to-date with inclement weather, we use several ways to notify you of changes in the schedule. We update the online Schedule ONE HOUR prior to class start time and will also do a post on the Facebook page. Like us on Facebook to get updates quickly.

Important Update about Soaring Spirit Yoga Studio and COVID-19

Hello Everyone and thank you for your patience as we navigate this uncertain time. I have decided to temporarily close the studio based on a call to action I received from the Yoga Alliance.

The Yoga Alliance been intensely monitoring CDC and WHO updates for the most current information and recommendations as to how to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. As a leader in a wellness space, I am trusted with the health and wellbeing of our practitioners and am committed to adopting the practices that offer the best protection for our community. Due to the increasingly rapid transmission of COVID-19, the world is experiencing an unprecedented collective response. I want Soaring Spirit to do its part to limit the spread of this disease.

All in-person yoga instruction will be moved online until the need for social distancing has passed. You will still sign up online through the MindBody system and an hour before class starts you will receive a link to join the class on Zoom.com You can use your phone, tablet or computer to participate. Most of our regularly scheduled instructors will be teaching their classes. Please see our online schedule for any changes and updates.
